We are currently offering no fewer than FOUR upgrades. Numbers 1 & 2 refer to quite old machines, i.e. the original Biogun. No. 3 refers to all machines (including Junior models) with a serial number less than 560493 and No. 4 is not applicable to machines with serial numbers greater than 20030134 The four upgrades and their prices are:
1. Power upgrade: increases the maximum power available by 2.5 times. £72 + VAT = £84.60 2. Delivery system upgrade: gives you two wristbands and curly cords instead of the hand electrode, and allows you greater freedom of movement because you don’t have to keep hold of the patient. Also gives you a new-style handpiece and emitters. £65.60 + VAT = £77.08. 3. “Arcless” upgrade: greatly decreases the tendency of the machine to arc when the emitter is brought too close to the skin. With the Pedigun Auto, arcing is virtually eliminated; with the other machines, the little arcing that is left is much less painful. £60 + VAT = £70.50. Please note that all machines with a serial number greater than 560492 – including current Bioguns – are already arcless. 4. Handpiece upgrade: replaces the 1mm fitting hand piece that accepts the small 1mm emitters with the new 2mm fitting that accepts the larger 2mm emitters. (Includes a pack of 2mm emitters and a free swap of unused 1mm emitters for new 2mm emitters) £50 + VAT = £58.75 To all of the above please add a labour charge of £50 plus VAT (VAT inclusive price = £58.75) and a carriage charge of £25 plus VAT (VAT-inclusive price = £29.38) for UK mainland customers. All other customers should contact us for carriage price. The labour and carriage charges are one off’s and will only be applied once per visit to the workshop.
